We are a term time sessional preschool for children aged 2-5 years where the emphasis is on making learning fun!
At The Cherry Tree Pre-school we aim to maximise learning potential by providing a fun, exciting and stimulating environment which encourages and promotes well being and unlocks every child’s inquisitive mind.

Meet Us
At The Cherry Tree Pre-school we have a highly qualified and thoroughly experienced early years team headed by Nursery owners & managers Sheenal Mithani and Karen Luma, who combined have over 11 years of teaching & management experience in outstanding educational settings across London. We share a passion for early years education and strive to attain the highest possible standards for your little learners. We know to get the best from them, they need to be happy and open to learning. We aim to achieve this by making every day stimulating and as much fun as it can be!

Optional lunch session offered 12PM - 1PM at an additional cost of £8. Please provide healthy, nut free packed lunch.
Registration
There is a one time registration fee of £25 upon signing up.
Minimum Sessions
Children must attend a minimum of three core hour sessions or two extended sessions (Early Start, Late Finish or Full Session) per week.
Deposit
A deposit of £250 is required once you accept a place at our pre-school. This will be refunded against your final term’s fees or refunded in full provided a half term’s notice is given.
Funding
All children are eligible to receive the government funding nursery grant for the term following their 3rd birthday for up to 15 hours a week or for some eligible parents up to 30 hours a week. These are reduced from the fees.
Our Facilities
At The Cherry Tree Pre-school we provide a cosy learning environment with small class sizes. Within our preschool setting we have two rooms designed to enable free movement in a safe and secure setting.
Explorers
One room is designed for our younger age group, the 2 -3 year olds. We call this class the “Explorers” as we know there is nothing more than this age group love to do than explore new things and make new connections about the world in their minds.
Creators
Our other room “Creators” is designed for the 3-5 year olds. Here we see children begin to use their previous experiences gained from exploring to create new learning situations for themselves and build upon old ones.
Nature Garden
Our ‘Nature garden’ has many plants, trees and natural materials. Children may choose to study and help maintain the wildlife hiding in our bug hotel & wormery, or perhaps they prefer to get stuck in digging and planting in our gardening patch or simply discover the treasures hidden in our sandpit. A colourful and tactile Sensory den provides a large range of sensorial delights for all to explore and our beautiful pagoda house is perfect for children to enjoy imaginary role-play.

The Cherry Tree Pre-School occupies the ground floor of the Friends Meeting House. Ideally situated in the heart of Muswell hill, just off Muswell Hill Road. Our location is well served by public transport, only a stones throw to the nearest bus stop. Free parking is available on Church Crescent so dropping your little one off needn’t be a hassle.
